"Drawing With Paint" is a series of paintings where I explore the boundary between painting and sculpture through a unique mixture of paint that I craft myself. This specialized paint is designed to be physically held and manipulated by models during the photoshoots. Through numerous experiments, I've developed a formula that maintains the essence of traditional paint while possessing a tactile quality that is both fluid and tangible. During each session, models engage with this tactile paint, creating dynamic and spontaneous interactions that blur the lines between subject and artist. The studio becomes a laboratory of artistic experimentation, where the slimy yet pliable nature of the paint enhances the expressive possibilities of each gesture and movement. Capturing these moments on canvas, I preserve the essence of these interactions, depicting a living canvas where the physicality of the paint and the fluidity of the modeling process converge. This approach challenges traditional notions of painting, inviting viewers to reconsider what constitutes art in terms of both materiality and process. After photographing the interactive sessions, I further develop the artworks by integrating additional elements and drawing techniques, enhancing their narrative complexity and visual depth. This hybrid process not only celebrates the spontaneity of live performance but also prompts viewers to question the boundaries between photography, painting, and sculpture.
